Alumni Reunion 2012

On May 26, 2012 15th Alumni Reunion took place in Jannat Hotel, Bishkek. This time, 140 alumni took part in this memorable event. John Clark, first AUCA President also attended reunion as an honorable guest-speaker. The James Wade Emison III Alumni Leadership Award has been presented to Unity Fund by the Alumni Council representatives, in recognition of leadership qualities exemplified by members of the Fund in public service and individual integrity. Jenny Jie has received the award on behalf of the Fund. President Andrew Wachtel talked about developments of the last year, including construction of new campus. During the evening guests enjoyed show program and live music. Apart from already traditional entertaining program hosted this year by Marat Yusupov, organizers introduced raffle that was decided to be made traditional for the alumni reunions. Raffle prizes are the courtesy of sponsors for this year alumni reunion. Event organizers would like to thank all of the sponsors including Turkish Airlines, Jannat Hotel, Life Fitness Sports Club, Continuing Education Centre at AUCA, Kapriz Issyk-Kul, Karven Club, Karven Restaurant, Prego Restaurant, Evromoda, Mia, Levi's, Colin's, Moulin Rouge, Colin’s Shop and Megacom. The main prizes were kindly provided by Turkish airlines – 2 Roundtrip tickets to Istanbul, Jannat Hotel – 1 Wedding package including one night in a luxury suite, use of outdoor wedding chapel and 10% off a banquet. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE RAFFLE WENT TOWARD THE AUCA ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP
