On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, the students from Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and Agro-ecology Integrated Crop Management courses visited the Lyceum, where specialists in organic agriculture, machine operators and textile handicraft workers trained. Currently, JICA is making efforts to organic farming development in Kyrgyzstan. The purpose of the visit was to observe greenhouse, biogas technology, composting and storage for products.

First, the students have seen two greenhouses that grow flowers, tomatoes, and cucumbers, according to the principles of organic farming. In the second part of the tour, the students got acquainted with composting methods and biogas technology, which heats greenhouses and produces liquid fertilizers. Finally, we have seen the infrastructure of the Lyceum for agricultural machines, textile staff, food storage, and creative craft works of Lyceum students.
