Raphael Dagold is an award-winning writer whose work explores personal and cultural identity and rupture, sometimes employing photography, video, and Web-based visual poetics. He has published widely in literary journals and anthologies, and is the author of the poetry collection Bastard Heart. This summer, he will be a Writing Fellow at the Jentel Foundation in Wyoming and at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
Clyde R. Forsberg Jr. is an international scholar, author, playwright, and Canadian jazz musician with degrees in Religious Studies, Philosophy, and History. He has written and performed five “jazz musicals,” and has been an active member of the international jazz scene—including Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan—touring professionally and in major festivals with numerous jazz greats.
