We are pleased to invite you to attend international conference "Reimagining Civil Society in a Period of 'Uncivil Societies' to be held in March 24-25, 2017, from 9:00 am till 7:30 pm, room 410. 

Two-day conference aims to bring together various perspectives, contexts, and disciplines for a productive conversation that moves the concept of ‘civil society’ forward, and re-theorizes the notion for the 21st Century.This conference will have a number of prominent researchers and scholars from Europe, US and Central Asia and streams, including one that focuses specifically on Central Asia and Post-Soviet contexts, and thematic panels, which provide a forum to address a specific topic at the forefront of civil society research.
