U.S. Ambassador in Kyrgyzstan gave a speech on Martin Luther King Jr.

On January 19 U.S. Ambassador in Kyrgyzstan Pamela Spratlen gave a speech dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  She talked about his ideas, passion and devotion of bringing about change in American society- ensuring equal rights for African Americans and other minorities.
«I would not be standing here if not for his achievements.  He, also known as “Crusader of Justice, changed America, inspiring generations of people to fight injustice and inequity.  A lot has been done starting from that time and until now. Yet, there is still more to do.   The civil rights movement still exists in different variations in U.S. seeking and creating more justice for all.» -said Ms. Spratlen.  
Meeting attendees were given opportunity to address questions related to the main topic to Ms. Spratlen creating very intensive discussion.  In the end a 20 minute video film on story of Rosa Parks, the ally of Martin Luther King Jr. in his fight for justice in American society.
