clean up

The Kyrgyz Government announces about the clean-up days on Saturdays along two months, September and October.

On September 13th, 2014, AUCA kicked off the first day of the clean-up day. The employees and students of AUCA, headed by the President of AUCA, Andrew Wachtel, actively took part in the clean-up of the territories, starting from "Seitek" to Kurmanjan Datka statue.

President of AUCA, Andrew Wachtel, who arrived from a conference in Moscow on Saturday, joined the morning jogging with the students, and then joined the clean-up. Through his activeness and being energetic, Andrew Wachtel shows a good motivation for the students of AUCA.

The employees and students of AUCA began their clean-up day from the territory of “Seitek” and thus helped the local governance of Bishkek city.

Also, it is important to note that the employees of AUCA together with FMSG cleaned up the territory of the parking area “Lesopad” in Kant.

Within two months, every Saturday, students-volunteers and staff of AUCA will take part in the clean-up.

We invite all residents of Bishkek to join in the clean-up day, held every Saturday in the next two months.
