American University of Central Asia is actively involved in the organization of the First World Nomad Games

World Nomad Games

 

From 9th to 14th September, 2014, a unique event will be held in Kyrgyzstan, aiming to improve the country’s image. The opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games was hosted at the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.

 

The ceremony began with a video of flash mob, which was organized by the students of AUCA at the central square of the capital, Ala-Too. Students of AUCA expressed their support towards the World Nomad Games, synchronously performing the dance. The video flash mob caused vigorous reaction in social sites, as well as among the audience of the world games. The audience at the world game supported the idea of flash mob with thunderous applause.


In addition to the flash mob, American University assists in logistics, as well as in the transferences and further distribution of information about the upcoming program of the games. For students and the administration of AUCA the First World Nomad Games are of great importance in cultural and social terms.

 

Currently, journalists of the communications department of AUCA are actively taking part in the organization of the event and continue covering news both in Kyrgyzstan and international media as well.
