Ex-Head of the Economics Department and Professor of AUCA, Nurbek Jenish was appointed as a Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic

AUCA is glad to announce that the ex-Head and Professor of the Economics Department of AUCA,  Nurbek Jenish, was appointed as a Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Professor Nurbek Jenish began working at AUCA as a teacher since 2009 and in 2012 was appointed as a Head of the Economics Department at the American University in Central Asia. Jenish worked at the Asian Development Bank and the National Bank of Hungary for the past decade, and he also worked as a consultant for the World Bank in Washington, DC.

           
It is worth noting that many professors of AUCA for several years lead to their career development and occupied various senior positions as in the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as in other large, advanced companies of Kyrgyzstan. It is important to note that, Abdygulov Tolkunbek, Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and Ulan Sarbanov, ex-chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, were professors at AUCA.
