Доктор Мусуралиева Эльмира является профессором факультета “Прикладная математика и информатика” Американского университета в Центральной Азии. Она получила диплом доцента в 1996 году и имеет степень доктора философии математического факультета Московского института электронного строительства (1987, Россия) и степень высшего образования с отличием в факультете “Прикладная математика” Кыргызского государственного университета (1980, Кыргызстан).
Доктор Мусуралиева начала свою деятельность в АУЦА в 1999 году в качестве преподавателя и стала директором Учебного отдела в 2000 году, одновременно преподавая на полставки на факультете “Естественные науки и информационные технологии” (2000-2006). Она была стипендиатом DAAD в Университете Ульма (2007, Германия), стипендиатом DAAD в Университете Ганновера (1998, Германия), стипендиатом программы “Фулбрайт” в Университете Канзаса (1997, США) и участницей различных летних школ и семинаров. Она была членом Академического комитета (2014-2016), членом комитета по статусу, продвижению и исследованиям (2008-2010), академическим куратором студентов с 2013 года и членом Комитета по стратегическому планированию (2001-2003) в АУЦА.
