UNIVERSITY OF MONTREAL
We are happy to announce that AUCA established a partnership with Université de Montréal, Canada. Université de Montréal, with its two affiliated schools, the École Polytechnique and the HEC Montréal, is the largest university in Quebec and the second largest in Canada. With over 55,000 students from around the world and some 10,000 employees, the Université de Montréal awards close to 10,000 diplomas at every university level. Deeply rooted in Montreal and dedicated to its international mission, the Université de Montréal is one of the top universities in the French-speaking world.
In light of this partnership, we plan to send 2 students for exchange per semester (4 months).
We invite applications from students who will be in their second or third year of education in Fall 2025 (sophomores and juniors) for a semester exchange program and have French laguage proficiency.
Before applying please take a look at the UdeM list of study undergraduate programs in English http://www.umontreal.ca/etudes/#c21542 for potential courses.
Please consult with your academic advisors and registrar office whether the courses that you’d like to take could be counted towards your major.
All other programs are offered in French. It is required to have a minimum of French level B1 or B2, but some programs have higher requirements.
Please note that Law and Psychology departments (baccalauréat en droit et en psychologie) at Université de Montréal do not accept exchange students as these programs are very competitive and allocate no available places for exchange students.
