Kubanychbek Zhaparov is currently a PhD candidate at the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands. His research project focuses on the problems of small hydro power industry in Kyrgyzstan; socio-technical, policy, economic and business aspects. Also, he is working as a “Sustainable Development Manager” at “DATT Energy LLC”, a social business which has a goal of making electricity accessible to people who has
limited access to electricity in rural areas of Kyrgyzstan.
