Esther Somfalvy is as PhD fellow at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), Field A “Global Governance and Regional Integration”. She pursues a PhD in Political Science on the topic of “Parliaments and citizens: Explaining representation in the countries of the post-Soviet region”. Prior to joining BIGSSS, Esther worked as a consultant for the Eurasia Competitiveness Programme of the OECD.  She studied European Studies and Political Science in Passau, Bremen and Kazan.
