Christopher Weed is currently a Master’s student at Charles University’s Balkans, Eurasia, and Central Europe program specializing in Central Asian affairs.  Originally from Alabama, USA, his academic interests stem from his five years in Kyrgyzstan (2010-2015) where he worked for various international organizations such as the US Peace Corps, DAI, and Soros-Kyrgyzstan.  He is particularly interested in international relations on the intra-regional level, as well as formal and informal politics.
