On November 29, 2015, New Generation Academy (NGA) administration and alumni arranged a “Day of the Culture” for NGA students. NGA students enrolled in the 2015-2016 academic year visited the Kyrgyz State Museum of History with faculty and some alumni.

November 19 - 24, 2015 two Practice Pasture Management Training Courses on Sustainable Pasture Management were held by Dr. Zheenbek Kulenbekov during his Environmental and Social Impact Assessment courses at AUCA.

Nuriza Begalieva, a Senior in the European Studies department, spent an exchange semester this spring at Sciences Po, Reims, in France. There she studied the politics of France and the European Union while also improving her French.

Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (EMSD) students Aziz Aitbaev and Bayan Akhmet and Lab Assistant/Instructor Bakhtyiar Asanov attended the workshop “Stakeholder Engagement in Research” in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 14-17, 2015.

For the first time, the New Generation Academy (NGA) at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) has established a partnership with Bard College and brought over two tutors to teach for the NGA program. Anna Daniszewski and Sophie Lazar share their thoughts on the NGA students and program, new campus, and about their first visit to Kyrgyzstan.

Now a junior of International and Comparative Politics, Ammar Younas spent an unforgettable summer attending the Summer School of Finland, participating in a Model UN Conference in Germany, visiting the Expo 2015 in Milan, Italy, as well as completing an internship at HRCP in Pakistan.
