The AUCA students of the Department of International and Business Law performed exceptionally well in the “EAEU Dispute Resolution-2024” competition. During the online stage held from November 29 to December 1, 2024, the students demonstrated strong knowledge of international law, secured fourth place among 23 teams from five EAEU countries, and advanced to the semifinals, which will take place in Moscow.

On December 2 – 4, 2024, AUCA Library Director Jyldyz Bekbalaeva and Reference Specialist Madina Kerimova attended the 18th IFLA Interlending and Document Supply Conference hosted by ADA University in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

 
On November 12-13, 2024, Dr. Buğra Güngör, Associate Professor of International and Comparative Politics, and Dr. Görkem Atsungur, Associate Professor of International and Comparative Politics, Chair of the ICP Department, attended the 5th Annual CASNiG (Central Asian Studies Network in Germany) Conference at the Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO) in Berlin, Germany.

      On November 18th, the University of York Law School hosted the Sixth Global Day of Action for Climate Justice (GDA 6), bringing together law students and clinics worldwide to focus on the pressing issue of water in the context of the climate emergency.

On Tuesday, November 26, AUCA hosted a “Text Analysis Methods and Tools” workshop for teachers and researchers from local universities in Kyrgyzstan.
