CENTRAL ASIAN JOURNALISM SUMMER INSTITUTE – 2020 APPLICATION OPEN
The Central Asian Journalism Summer Institute provides early-career journalists and journalism students with the skills they need to launch successful careers in journalism and media. The Summer Institute will provide an interactive curriculum to develop participants’ skills in areas such as data journalism, digital media, social media, podcasting, and storytelling.

Diversity Week Final Concert. Photo report
The most magnificent AUCA tradition - Diversity Week has passed. It ended with a grandiose concert where all the twelve delegations showed a small, vivid, and memorable show. Also, local famous Kyrgyz singer Omar and the dance group of kids Aalam led by Asel Sardari (AUCA graduate) surprised the visitors with amazing performances.

Festival of Food at AUCA
The long-awaited day of the Diversity Week - Food Day passed yesterday, January 30th. This is a unique opportunity to try the national cuisines of different ethnicities in one place, starting with Uzbek pilaf and ending with Brazil delicacies.

Professor at Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania lectured AUCA students for a week
Prof. Salvija Mulevičienė lectured graduate and undergraduate students of AUCA on The Modernization of EU Insolvency Law topic between November 25-29.  She also introduced students to the Dual Degree opportunity with Mykolas Romeris University.

Representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul Scholarship Program visited AUCA on November 5
Ms. Iliana Zazueta Cultural/Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and her colleague Mr. Reda Mohamed Ayadi met with Afghan students and the University Administration.

School of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration at International Franchise and Trade EXPO
SEBA participated in the biggest business event of the year. Over 20 SEBA students volunteered at EXPO and showed great effort in assisting organizing committee at all stages of the event.

The WARC Celebrates Its Eighth Birthday
On Friday, November 1st, 2019, tutors, staff, and faculty and administration supporters gathered to celebrate the eighth “birthday” of the Writing & Academic Resource Center. Since its creation in 2011, the WARC has grown to a staff of 27 tutors who collectively conduct over 200 hours of tutoring a week, both online and in person.
