Applications for Exchange Semester at Magdeburg University.

Sociology Department welcomes applications from graduate students of Master’s program intake 2021 for an exchange semester at Magdeburg University in spring 2022. The aim of this exchange program is to support students who show commitment to and excellence in Sociology. This year, the three talented students will get a chance to study abroad in one of the leading social sciences universities of Europe.  The traveling, living, and study costs are covered within the framework of the exchange program. 

Eligibility:

Students entering the first year of Master’s in Sociology are welcome to apply. Applicants must be citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan,  Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

Application assessment:

Applications will be assessed according to the following criteria:

• Academic excellence of the applicant (students with relative higher GPA will be given preferences)
• Commitment to Sociology
• Track record of student and academic life involvement

Application deadline.

All interested students need to send a CV, cover letter, transcript from undergraduate degree, two recommendation letters from academic referees to soc@auca.kg. A complete application pack should be sent by November 17, 2021, midnight Bishkek time. Late applications will not be accepted. 
Applicants will be notified about the results at the beginning of December 2021.
