American University of Central Asia and Youth Council of Central Asia C5+1 with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyz Republic is proud to invite you to #WomensVoice conference.
#WomensVoice is a one day event which will broaden your perspective on opportunities for women, which will tell you what true feminism is, which will prove that women matter and will inspire you to bring new ideas to life.
#WomensVoice is a unique opportunity to meet famous speakers who had been ruining gender stereotypes for years. You will discover the history of women empowerment movement in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia and worldwide. You will have an opportunity to ask questions that really matter today.
The conference will include different panel that cover such topics:
- Role of women in politics and decision-making in Central Asia;
- Gender roles in mass media;
- Territorial perspectives of women and stereotyping;
- Role of women in IT and development.
Our goal:
To bring together young ( not only though) leaders of Central Asia to a large discussion on gender issues but also to enlighten on current gender problems of Central Asia and to inspire for solving them.
