“The one and only: Improvishe”

These pioneers of improvisation in Central Asia were established in 2013 as a BiG Improv Club. Improvishe is the only improvisation comedy club in Central Asia. Improvishe values the high standards of hosting shows, creating content and making fun of everything that you want to make fun of. Here, the Improvishe team shared with us their formula for making people laugh.

Why we do this.

One of our main goals is the promotion and development of improvisation in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. We believe that this type of comedy has a lot of potential, and we want to let more people know about it. We also want to show people it is possible for us to create jokes on the go—we absolutely love to make fun of the most unexpected things!

Our history.

2013 - “BiG Improv” was created.

2014 - a lot of shows in a row.

2016 - shows, shows, shows.

How do we contribute to the AUCA community?

It is fair to say that we are responsible for many hours of laughter by AUCA students and staff while we performed on the stage of our beloved CH. We are absolutely happy to perform for our AUCA friends and family because we feel their support and love. It is always something special to act on your homestage.

“Improvishe” is: Batyr Shabdanov, Ruslan Aidarov, Aman Kanimetov,  Dmitry Bodnia, Benazir Kabaeva, Begaiym Djumanazarova, Karim Azimov, Rustam Khalimov, and Rustam Shakirov.

Our highest achievements: This is hard to say because every show and performance is unique and exclusive. We were interviewed several times by local web-sites such as stylish.kg and sputnik.kg. Also we were guests on the TV show “Утро на Пятом”. But we believe that our biggest achievement is the love of our fans for what we are doing.

Our future: Surprises are coming.

Our philosophy: Always say “Yes”, support your teammates, and never quit acting.”

Our advice for AUCA students: Never stop exploring. Stay hungry for new discoveries.
