Amanda is a Ph.D. candidate in Stanford University's Department of Anthropology.  She also has an M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Stanford University.  From 2007-2010 she trained teachers in Kyrgyzstan as an English Language Fellow.
