Visa requirements

As always, visa requirements depend on your country of origin, please refer to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (http://www.evisa.e-gov.kg/) on visa applications. Please contact the organizers when a visa support letter is needed. Keep in mind that this requires significant processing time due to the registration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Currency and Banking

The official currency in Kyrgyzstan is som. An exchange rate list is available on https://valuta.kg/ and you might want to use a convenient calculator. Foreign currency exchange is available at most banks and exchange offices throughout the city. International credit cards (mostly VISA) are accepted for payment in hotels, restaurants and shops.

The organizers do not accept responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance needs and all participants are strongly advised to take out their personal insurance before travelling to the conference.

From Manas Airport to Bishkek City

Bishkek Manas international airport is connected with major airports http://www.airport.kg/

By shuttle: The scheduled airport shuttle “Aero express” is operating between the Airport and micro district №12 (approximately 30 min). One way ticket costs 120 SOM (1.6 EUR, 1.8 USD, 110 RUB).

By taxi: The prices of a taxi from the airport to the city center are approximately 1000 SOM (12.5 EUR, 15 USD, 900 RUB). From the airport to the city center by taxi takes 20-30 min.
