Project title: Transnational partnerships for the promotion and advancement of human rights in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan
Project duration: 1 November 2014- 30 October 2016.
The project aims at advancing human rights and supporting the democratic development of Kyrgyzstan by working at three levels: with the local civil society representatives, university and school students.
At the university level, the two partners are Business and Law Department of the American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan) and the Faculty of Law of Tartu University (Estonia). The partnership consists in exchange of experience between the two academic units and delivery of a training programme composed of four modules by the Estonian academic staff to the students at AUCA.
The programme of the courses are as it follows: module 1 in the spring of 2015, module 2 in the fall of 2015, module 3 in the spring of 2016 and module 4 in the fall of 2016.
This teaching programme is part of the project “Transnational partnership for the promotion and advancement of human rights in Kyrgyzstan” funded through the Estonian Development Cooperation Programme of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
