MATHEMATICAL MODELING IN NATURAL AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Mathematical Modeling in Natural and Social Sciences Concentration

  1. General Description:

Concentration is based on fundamental disciplines of Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences and gives representation about a method of mathematical modeling as an effective tool of acquisition a new knowledge. Students gain preliminary skills of designing and application of mathematical models in natural (geophysics) and social (economy) sciences. We hope, that concentration will give students knowledge and skills, sufficient for further use of a mathematical modeling method in various areas, in particular, in liberal arts. Concentration is interdisciplinary and based on courses of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (Computer sciences) and Software Engineering departments.
