Mass Communications Concentration

 

  1. General Description:

 

        Concentration Program in Mass Communications focus on building the professional journalism and PR skills such as journalism writing skills, media production, digital storytelling and PR studies. Students will produce web-sites, TV, audio and print journalism outputs as well as write press-releases and conduct their first PR campaigns. Practice based studies complemented with several theoretical courses which provide extensive cultural background along with deep understanding of mass communications. The program courses increase students understanding of the role of the media in the society and raise their capacity in communications industry. This effort increases media literacy of the public in general.
