Course description:

 

The course has been especially designed to meet the needs of businessmen as well as non-financial professionals and managers. It will provide them with a background in accounting, including how to read, construct and analyze financial statements. The course will also help them make better decisions and direct their businesses towards profitability and the achievement of a competitive edge. Learning is achieved via examples, which reinforce the theory, and topic-related presentations, which successfully simplify the financial topic for the non-financial person.

 

Course objectives:

  • to provide executives with an overview of basic principles and customary terms used in financial statements;
  • to discuss different types of costs and the way they influence the process of decision making;
  • to awake awareness of budgets' role and budgeting activity;
  • to discuss approaches to the assessment of financial information;
  • to discuss methods of strategic marketing plan implementation.

 

 

Target group:

Entrepreneurs, business owners and managers, junior managers within the discipline and other managers from different functions who may need a basic understanding of finance to enable them to more fully understand the business and make more efficient managerial decisions.
