As AUCA prepares itself to start a new phase in its life the CIO’s vision is that new paradigms need to be set in motion, such as the IT development Center, to support and promote higher education capabilities and modern requirements.
Mission Statement of the Office of the CIO
1- Reform course delivery to enable learning anywhere at anytime and promote self-learning at the student’s own pace.
2- Enable a more flexible learning system that leverages space and collaboration, fitting the new Campus’ underlying architectural motto.
3- Integrate all our enterprise systems to enable university wide resource planning and be able to determine costs with more granularity and precision than ever before.
4- Ensure that technology becomes an enabler and a commodity in all aspects of University Life.
1- Lead the technology department and information systems of AUCA.
2- Energize the business transformation of AUCA through existing or new initiatives, to build eminence, generate revenue or reduce costs.
3- Support the AUCA President in developing or prototyping novel ideas as he requires.
