AUCA launches Microsoft IT Academy Program to Help Equip Students with 21st Century Skills for Success

Program designed to increase technology prowess of students to help them reach their educational and career potential.

Bishkek, October 2014, AUCA announced the launch of the Microsoft IT Academy program to equip students with real-world technology skills to help them thrive in the 21st century economy.

The Microsoft IT Academy program is a college and career-ready education program available to all accredited academic institutions, designed to provide students with the 21st century technology skills necessary to earn Microsoft Certifications and be competitive in today’s rapidly evolving workplace. The Microsoft IT Academy program also provides educators and staff with professional development opportunities. This subscription-based membership program offers a world-class technology curriculum with lesson plans, E-Learning, student projects, and assessments. To date, there are more than 12,000 Microsoft IT Academy members in more than 130 countries.

Resources available through the Microsoft IT Academy program give educators the opportunity to stay upto-date on the latest Microsoft technologies and easily integrate these technologies into new or existing curricula. With these resources, educators can tailor classes to meet the needs of students of all ages and levels of experience.


Microsoft IT Academy offers:

  • Online access to a wide range of Microsoft E-Learning courses and the the E-Learning Central Learning Management System (LMS) to help track and monitor student progress
  • Inclusion of digital versions of Microsoft Official Academic Course (MOAC) course content.
  • Professional development opportunities for faculty via curriculum and MOS and MTA certification opportunities
  • Access to digital E-Reference library that offer instant access to over 700 Microsoft Press books online

Students of a Microsoft IT Academy can receive hands‐on experience with the latest Microsoft software and hundreds of web‐based E‐Learning courses.
