“Thinking about IBL, I can proudly say that it always takes a special place in my life. Admission to AUCA and IBL Department was my dream - come – true. These were 4 fabulous years that gave me a lot of knowledge and outstanding experience that I will carry with me for life.”

Asel Soorbekova ‘09

“International and Business Law Department is a work and creative space for me now. Once upon a time my teachers were my idols, now I'm teaching like them. The Department was my second family. Elida Kanybekovna was like my mom giving me the life advice. My colleagues were my brothers and sisters, with whom we share great memories. The Department equipped me with knowledge and passion for the life-trip. I am thankful for those unique years. ”

Gulnaz Naamatova ‘09

“IBL was my choice and I'm happy I made this very choice in my life! It was a door to many opportunities and all four years were full of unforgettable moments, communication and friendship with smart and talented people, great professors, busy schedule, challenges, and lots of exams. It was a great start of my legal education!”

Alexandra Cherkasenko ‘10

“Being employee, being overseas, being Master student, AUCA graduates start to evaluate and appreciate everything they gained during studies much more. Personally me, I realized what AUCA, namely IBL gave me. It gave my knowledge, confidence and stimulus to go ahead, a desire to move on. Many distinguished professors shared their own experience with us and it was very useful to know. The choice that I made 4 years ago, was very wise choice and I am very happy that I am AUCA, IBL graduate.”

Hadija Murtazalieva ‘11

“Getting into the Law Department at AUCA has always been my dream! I should, however, admit that I was not expecting to get so much from my four amazing years of studies at AUCA. Besides enjoying the warm and friendly environment at our IBL department and making life-long friends, I have leant a lot: to be challenged and to be innovative in your response to those challenges and never give up! Many thanks for amazing faculty of the IBL department and for class of 2009! YOU are and always will be great part of my life!”

Meerim Kachkynbaeva ‘09
