AUCA Hosts Annual Ambassador Talks Series with the Ambassador of France On October 7, 2026, the International and Comparative Politics program at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) convened its annual Ambassador Talks Series, entitled “How France and Kyrgyzstan Can Cooperate at the Multilateral Level to Make the World More Peaceful and Sustainable.

The department of International and Comparative Politics continued its Ambassador Talks Series and welcomed a distinguished guest on 22 April, as President O’Connor introduced H.E. the Turkish Ambassador Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem for an engaging session on Turkish foreign policy — examining both its theoretical foundations and real-world practice.

On March 27, Professor of General Education at the AUCA, Dr. Uulkan Kambaralieva, presented her book “Kyrgyz Language and Literature” at the Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev. The event brought together respected guests, faculty members, and students who gathered to celebrate the publication and its contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz language and national culture.

    On December 8, 2025, American University of Central Asia hosted a special U.S. Ambassador Talks event at the CH MakerSpace, marking the 10th anniversary of the C5+1 diplomatic platform. The discussion focused on the achievements of the C5+1 initiative over the past decade, including its milestone Washington, D.

On Tuesday, November 11th, the AUCA community gathered to celebrate one of the most anticipated traditions of the year the Initiation Ceremony 2025. This time, the event took place not at the Toktogul Satylganov Philharmonic Hall as in previous years, but right within the walls of the AUCA campus, which was transformed for the occasion.

On October 10, the Sociology Department proudly held its traditional annual event  the Initiation of New Sociology Students. This cherished tradition marks the beginning of our students’ journey into the fascinating world of sociology, where curiosity meets critical thinking and social awareness.
