In July, during the peak of the pandemic crisis in Kyrgyzstan, U.S.-CAEF and AUCA alumna Asel Kaldybaeva could not just sit and watch while people in her community were suffering. She became one of the first volunteers of the “Help Issyk-Kul” initiative created by Edil Ajibaev, founder of PicVPic.com, and played a key role in the success of the project.

Dear AUCA community!  We are glad to announce that SPIRIT WEEK 2020 is coming!   From October 6 to October 9, 2020 we are going to have 4 crazy days. Days that will remind us that we are all united and friendly.

Maftunakhon Tokhirova is a junior student of Anthropology department. She came to study at AUCA from Tashkent. Previously, she applied for an exchange program and was successfully accepted to study at BARD College, USA. Due to the pandemic, the flights have been canceled and now Maftunakhon is studying remotely. We talked with her about her student life and learned about her best memories at AUCA.
