SAFETY

AUCA provides a safe environment for its students, faculty and guests.

The university employs full-time security officers, and proper identification is required in order to enter the campus buildings. Although Bishkek is, in general, a safe city with no targeted attacks against foreigners, AUCA encourages everyone to exercise common sense and regular safety precautions that they would employ in any big city. 

These include:

• not going out alone,
  

• not going out late at night,
  

• not carrying large amounts of cash, and
  

• not doing anything that might draw unwanted attention.
