The Center for Psychological Research is a scientific/academic subdivision of the Psychology Department at AUCA. The center was founded in 2004 as the Psychology Laboratory. Students and teachers are actively involved in activities of the center. The mission of the center is the promotion of education in the sphere of psychology and the development of experimental methods to build the capacity of specialists in psychology. Major researche areas include Political Psychology, Psychology of Understanding, and Educational Psychology (student-based). |
The staff of the center regularly participate in scientific conferences. Publications include the CD-ROM Man and Society, which was supported and recorded with grant support from the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan. This CD-Rom is available upon request.
